Return to Oaxaca

One of our favorite retreats!!  Join us for a festive and exciting week when the city is filled with flowers and preparation for Dia de los Muertos. Arrive Saturday the 21st to Casa Murguia, our beautiful villa in the heart of Oaxaca.  Spend 4 nights in the folk art capital of Mexico — with morning meditation and asana practice, and day trips to Monte Alban, a large pre-Columbian archaeological site, Teotilan del Valle, the famous weavers village, Matatlan, the mescal making village, and Tlacolula,the largest outdoor market in the world (spectacular!!).

Then on the 25th, after breakfast, take the scenic one and a half hour drive (all paved roads) to brand new, comfy, & delightfully rustic cabins in the Sierra Juarez mountains.  Phenomenal pranayama at 8000 feet, breathtaking views, and spectacular hiking and nature walks.  Spend 2 nights in the mountains then return on the 27th to a our favorite boutique hotel in the city for a day of practice, meditation, and, of course, last minute shopping. Depart on Saturday the 28th.  Take an empty suitcase!!  The folk art, textiles, and crafts are beyond words!  Prices start at $1950 double occupancy (single occupancy very limited- add $295).

Cancellation Policy for Retreats/Teacher Training
Cancellations made 60+ days before the retreat start date incur a $100 processing fee.
Cancellations made 60-45 days prior to the retreat will receive a 50% credit toward our next year’s Winter retreat.
Cancellations (or no shows) made with less than 45 days notice will receive no refund or credit.

We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself from any unexpected circumstances that might cause a need to change your plans
